Clothes Bank
The Clothes Bank started back in 2015, as part of Host Nottingham. Our very own Gemma, the Project Coordinator at the time, started sorting some spare donated clothes at the Forum. They were then given to asylum seekers who needed them.
Since then, it has grown into a whole operation of sorting incoming donations, storing them in our facilities, and serving them to clients in need.

Our Clothes Bank is run by volunteers, and would not be able to run without these kind and generous individuals who give up their time to serve others.

A brief history...
What happens at our Clothes Bank?
Once every other month, asylum seekers can drop-in to our clothes bank to collect good quality second-hand clothes and basic toiletries. No referral is needed, but the clients do need to be asylum seekers, or within the first 6 months pf being granted refugee status, to be eligible. Our volunteers will serve the clients, and give them a choice of items where possible. Our opening times are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10am-12pm.
Our address is:
